Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop personalized, goal-driven treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions with a focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Work hand in hand with physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic expectations, home exercise programming, and discharge readiness
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in alignment with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and care conferences to ensure seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent graduate degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, neurology, or orthopedics are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred, though driven newer graduates are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated ability to assess and treat patients presenting with complex medical and mobility challenges
