Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments inclusive of detailed physical evaluations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Support diagnostic workups by interpreting laboratory findings and imaging studies relevant to surgical planning
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop and implement individualized treatment strategies
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument management throughout procedures
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care protocols, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a concentration in surgical subspecialties strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid Tennessee state licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain it
