Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of sonographic exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts studies
• Guide patients through each procedure with patience, empathy, and clear communication
• Partner with radiologists and clinical teams to capture and deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor, operate, and maintain ultrasound equipment, escalating any technical concerns promptly
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the electronic health record system
• Pursue ongoing education and remain current with evolving sonography standards and techniques

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Required Credentials

• Active ARDMS certification (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or recognized equivalent
• BLS certification preferred at time of hire
