Description

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions addressing mobility, functional strength, balance, and overall physical performance
• Work hand-in-hand with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehab professionals to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Empower patients and their support systems with education around therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge planning
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of evaluations, interventions, and clinical progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent accredited degree from a recognized institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as geriatrics, neurology, or orthopedics are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred, though passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply
