What You Will Be Doing

• Work in close collaboration with attending surgeons to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment and surgical care plans
• Actively participate in surgical cases by preparing the operative environment, supporting correct patient positioning, and providing skilled instrument assistance throughout procedures
• Manage the full continuum of perioperative care — from pre-op patient education and medication protocols to post-operative wound management, discharge coordination, and recovery guidance

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a meaningful surgical component is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Valid Tennessee state licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain licensure
