Description

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions addressing mobility deficits, functional limitations, strength, and postural balance
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team — including physicians, case managers, nurses, and rehab specialists — to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic milestones, home exercise programs, and discharge preparation
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in alignment with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Contribute actively to care conferences and team rounds to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialty certifications — such as neurological or geriatric rehab — are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage patients with complex, multi-system medical and mobility presentations
