Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, lifelong care to individuals and families, spanning from pediatric to geriatric populations.
  • Proactively manage chronic illnesses, preventive care, acute health issues, and mental health concerns using a patient-centric method.
  • Perform physical assessments, interpret diagnostic findings, and craft individualized treatment strategies.
  • Foster collaboration with care coordinators, behavioral health teams, and specialists to ensure integrated care.
  • Engage in quality improvement projects that elevate patient outcomes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Leverage electronic medical records (EMR) to sustain precise, comprehensive patient documentation.
  • Provide care in-person and through virtual platforms to align with patients’ needs and preferences.

 

Education Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from a recognized medical school.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency.

 

Certifications

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine.
  • Must be eligible for (or already possess) an active medical license in Texas.
  • Preferred certifications: BLS and ACLS.

 

Skills and Experience
