Description

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in inpatient and outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting mobility restoration, strength development, balance training, and functional independence
• Partner with multidisciplinary care teams — including physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists — to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Provide thorough patient and caregiver education covering therapeutic goals, home exercise programming, and safe discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to support seamless, coordinated care transitions

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications in areas such as neurology or geriatrics are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred across inpatient or outpatient settings
