Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, employing both standardized assessment tools and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment plans that address immediate goals as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized therapy sessions focusing on various aspects including communication effectiveness, language development, fluency, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to ensure holistic care strategies.
• Provide essential education for patients and their families to promote continuous progress outside of clinical settings.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapies, guaranteeing an uninterrupted continuum of care.
• Maintain precise and timely records in accordance with state, federal, and institutional regulations.
• Stay updated on industry advancements through ongoing professional development and participation in peer collaborations.

Qualification Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Required Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• BLS certification must be acquired within 30 days of employment.
