Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, developing discharge plans, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C credential
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
