Ultrasound Technologist

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is looking for a committed full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated team at a reputable acute-care hospital near Brownwood, Texas!

Salary Range: $61,799 - $85,699 annually

Primary Responsibilities:

• Patient Positioning and Preparation: Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Operate Ultrasound Equipment: Skillfully manage ultrasound machines to capture clear, high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Work Schedule: Work three 12-hour shifts, from Thursday to Saturday, between 8:30 AM and 8:30 PM.
• Image Analysis: Review and interpret ultrasound images to assist in accurate diagnoses and inform treatment plans.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of patient histories, procedures, and diagnostic findings to ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborative Patient Care: Collaborate closely with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare teams to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care strategies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound machines are correctly calibrated and well-maintained, and promptly report any technical issues.
• Patient Communication: Clearly explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, address their questions or concerns, and provide follow-up instructions as needed.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in ultrasound.
• Certification: Hold certification from ARRT or ARDMS.
• BCLS Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
• Licensure: Must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) or possess ARDMS certification.
• Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Confidentiality: Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
