Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories prior to surgical procedures
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of laboratory findings and diagnostic imaging
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical profile and goals
• Provide hands-on intraoperative support, including operating room preparation, patient positioning, and skilled instrument handling throughout procedures
• Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care protocols, discharge coordination, and comprehensive patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation experience with a focus in surgical settings strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Valid state licensure or demonstrated eligibility to practice as a Physician Assistant in Texas
