Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments with detailed medical histories and physical examinations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through the analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Support surgical operations through meticulous preparation and patient positioning, as well as the efficient transfer of instruments
• Offer high-quality care before and after surgery, encompassing medication delivery, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strong preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations with a focus on surgery

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C credentials
• BLS and ACLS certification necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
