Job Description

• Develop Individualized Care Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and craft tailored occupational therapy programs designed to support the achievement of their personal functional goals
• Deliver Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply clinically proven techniques to improve patients' fine and gross motor function, cognitive performance, and ability to carry out activities of daily living
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner with a multidisciplinary team of OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure every patient receives well-rounded, integrated care
• Educate and Empower: Provide patients and their families with the knowledge and tools they need to continue therapeutic progress beyond the clinic walls
• Track Outcomes and Refine Approaches: Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress over time, and adapt treatment strategies to keep recovery on track

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Pursuit of continuing education, specialty certifications, or post-graduate credentials is actively supported and encouraged

Certifications

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure in the state of Texas
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
