Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including detailed physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Interpret diagnostic imaging, laboratory findings, and test results to support surgical diagnosis and planning
• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized treatment strategies
• Offer hands-on intraoperative assistance — from room preparation and patient positioning to instrument handling throughout procedures
• Manage pre- and post-operative patient care encompassing medication protocols, wound management, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a concentration in surgical rotations is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
