Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic interventions targeting mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence
• Partner closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to drive the best possible patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge planning with clarity and compassion
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility standards and applicable regulations
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications such as neurological or geriatric rehab are welcomed but not required

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred, though motivated newer graduates are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrated ability to manage patients presenting with complex medical and functional challenges
