What You'll Be Doing

• Perform thorough patient evaluations that include comprehensive physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings to support surgical diagnoses and clinical planning
• Partner closely with attending surgeons in designing and implementing individualized treatment strategies
• Deliver hands-on intraoperative support — from room preparation and patient positioning to instrument handling during active procedures
• Oversee holistic pre- and post-operative care, including medication protocols, wound management, discharge coordination, and tailored patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a fully accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical concentration are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid Texas PA licensure or documented eligibility to obtain it
