- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, imaging, and lab results to guide clinical decisions
- Counseling patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and long-term wellness strategies
- Prescribing medications, therapies, and referrals within your full scope of practice
- Engaging in chronic disease management and coordinating follow-up care across the care continuum

Education Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Required Certifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
- National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C via AANP or ANCC) or specialty-equivalent credential
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or the ability to obtain both within 90 days of hire
