Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory findings to support the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions
• Work in close partnership with the surgical team to develop and carry out individualized treatment plans
• Offer hands-on intraoperative assistance, including patient positioning, sterile field maintenance, and surgical instrument management throughout procedures
• Oversee pre- and post-operative patient care encompassing medication management, wound treatment, discharge coordination, and thorough patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a strong surgical focus are highly preferred

Certifications

• Active, unrestricted PA-C certification in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid Texas state licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain
