Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related area
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
