Description

• Conduct assessments in either an inpatient or outpatient environment and formulate tailored treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall function
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case workers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes
• Educate families and patients regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge procedures, and home exercise routines
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to guarantee seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent credential from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) are advantageous but not compulsory

• Prior relevant experience is highly preferred
