Occupational Therapist

MLR is collaborating with a respected healthcare system to hire a skilled Occupational Therapist for a full-time position. This role involves working Monday through Friday, with one Saturday shift per month. The Occupational Therapist will develop and manage individualized treatment plans, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans in line with occupational therapy standards.
• Program Implementation: Design and adjust therapy programs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Staff Supervision: Lead and provide guidance to occupational therapy assistants, technicians, and support staff.
• Equipment Management: Utilize and maintain rehabilitation equipment efficiently.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas or eligibility for licensure.
• Certifications: Current CPR certification.
• Driver’s License: Valid Texas Driver’s License required for HMC Designated Drivers (if applicable).
• Skills: Proficient in rehabilitation techniques and equipment usage.
