Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using both standardized tools and skilled clinical observation.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication, language, fluency, voice, cognitive-linguistic function, and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver direct, one-on-one speech therapy services tailored to each patient's unique goals, background, and clinical needs.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physical therapists, physicians, nurses, caregivers, and families to deliver seamless, whole-person care.
• Educate patients and their support systems on strategies and exercises to reinforce therapeutic progress beyond the clinic walls.
• Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring continuity and quality across care settings.
• Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational, state, and federal standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education, peer consultation, and engagement with current research and evidence-based practices.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through ASHA strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
