What You Will Do

• Execute a broad spectrum of clinical laboratory procedures spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and related disciplines in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
• Critically evaluate test results for validity and accuracy, troubleshoot instrument anomalies, and carry out routine calibration and preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.
• Support specimen collection workflows and prepare biological samples for downstream analysis when the situation calls for it.
• Maintain thorough and accurate procedural documentation, contribute to the onboarding and mentorship of incoming staff and students, and actively uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Champion a safe, clean, and compliant work environment that meets all applicable regulatory and accreditation benchmarks.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline is required, along with preparation toward ASCP or AMT board certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Active certification must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.
