Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

• Preparing and organizing the operating room in advance of scheduled and emergent surgical cases
• Establishing and preserving sterile fields in strict accordance with infection prevention protocols
• Passing instruments, sutures, and supplies to surgeons and surgical assistants with precision and timing
• Managing and setting up all necessary surgical equipment before, throughout, and following each procedure
• Tracking supply inventory to ensure every case is fully stocked and ready
• Functioning as a collaborative member of a multidisciplinary OR team alongside nurses, surgeons, and anesthesiologists
• Completing accurate surgical counts and maintaining thorough documentation throughout each case

Education Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Certifications Needed:

• Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential through NBSTSA or equivalent body
• Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
