• Scrutinize test results for accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support sample collection efforts and prepare specimens for testing as needed.
• Document all processes extensively, train new colleagues or students, and uphold high laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a tidy and safe workspace, adhering strictly to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Certification through ASCP or AMT in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year from the hire date.
• Certification must remain current for the duration of employment.
