Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical exams
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and assisting with surgical instrument transitions
• Deliver remarkable pre- and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, planning discharges, and educating patients

Educational Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations specifically focused on surgical practice is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
