Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
Current Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Additional department-specific certifications (ACLS, etc.) preferred or obtainable post-hire
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care for individuals with neuro and pulmonary conditions
Perform thorough assessments and adjust care plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and healthcare team members
Administer medications, monitor responses, and document changes accurately
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals
Support a collaborative and respectful work environment while mentoring peers and support staff
