Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging studies and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide comprehensive intraoperative support, ensuring optimal room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument management during procedures
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong focus on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
