Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop personalized, goal-driven treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence
• Partner closely with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehab professionals to deliver well-rounded, patient-centered care
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge readiness
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of evaluations, interventions, and patient progress aligned with facility and regulatory standards
• Actively engage in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to ensure seamless, coordinated treatment across the continuum

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree required

Certifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Texas
• CPR certification preferred
• Additional specialty certifications such as neurological or geriatric rehab are welcomed but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior clinical experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage patients presenting with complex medical and functional challenges
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative spirit
