What You Will Be Doing

• Work in close partnership with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized treatment strategies
• Deliver hands-on intraoperative assistance, including patient positioning, sterile field maintenance, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Oversee pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education, wound management, medication oversight, and coordinated discharge planning

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a surgical rotation emphasis is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Active Texas state licensure or verified eligibility to obtain licensure
