Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through detailed analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work intimately with surgeons to develop and execute individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently passing instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations focused on surgical care is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
