Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations including comprehensive physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews ahead of surgical procedures
• Support diagnostic workups by interpreting laboratory findings, imaging studies, and other clinical data to assist in surgical planning
• Partner directly with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized treatment and operative plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance, including patient positioning, sterile field preparation, and instrument handling throughout surgical cases
• Deliver attentive pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound assessment, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical training with a focus on surgical rotations is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification through NCCPA
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Valid state licensure in Utah or documented eligibility to obtain licensure
