Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral member of our expanding team of imaging professionals who deliver outstanding patient care. You will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform essential diagnostic procedures, work in collaboration with a committed team of clinicians, and provide reassurance to patients by ensuring timely and precise imaging.

Responsibilities Include:

• Executing a variety of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each step with empathy and patience.
• Working closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Accurately documenting procedures and maintaining patient records using the electronic medical system.
• Keeping up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices.

Education Requirements:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Needed:

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.

• Strong technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
