Job Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations, encompassing comprehensive physical assessments and meticulous medical history discussions
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through interpretation of imaging and lab findings

• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing instrument transfers during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including prescribing medications, managing wound care, and facilitating discharge plans while educating patients thoroughly

Education Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis strongly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
