Description

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions addressing mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence
• Work alongside physicians, nurses, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programs, and discharge planning with clarity and empathy
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in alignment with facility standards and applicable regulatory requirements
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary care conferences and team rounds to support coordinated, whole-person care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia
• CPR certification is preferred
