Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• National certification through AANP or ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) or specialty-equivalent credential
• Current BLS certification and ACLS certification, or the ability to obtain both within 90 days of hire
