What You Will Be Doing

• Perform thorough patient assessments encompassing physical examinations and in-depth medical history reviews
• Interpret imaging and laboratory findings to assist in diagnosing surgical conditions and guiding treatment decisions
• Partner closely with attending surgeons to develop and carry out individualized surgical care plans
• Provide hands-on intraoperative assistance, including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument handling throughout procedures
• Manage comprehensive pre- and post-operative care including wound management, medication oversight, discharge coordination, and patient and family education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a surgical concentration are strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification in good standing
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Virginia state licensure or demonstrated eligibility to obtain licensure
