What You Will Be Doing

• Execute a wide range of routine and complex laboratory procedures spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and related disciplines in accordance with established clinical protocols.
• Review, interpret, and validate test results for accuracy and reliability, identifying irregularities and performing corrective troubleshooting as needed.
• Conduct scheduled calibration, quality control checks, and preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation to ensure peak performance.
• Assist with specimen collection and processing, ensuring proper handling and chain of custody throughout the testing workflow.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures, findings, and quality assurance activities in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Support a culture of learning by assisting in the onboarding and training of incoming staff and laboratory students.
• Uphold a safe, organized, and inspection-ready lab environment at all times.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health field is required. Candidates actively pursuing ASCP or AMT board certification are encouraged to apply.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science is required or must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Active maintenance of certification throughout the duration of employment is expected.
