Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including conducting physical assessments and reviewing comprehensive medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging results and lab testing
• Work in tandem with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide vital support during surgical procedures, including preparing the operating room, ensuring proper patient positioning, and passing instruments as needed
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound care management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution
• Experience in surgical rotations is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
