About the Role

In this role, you'll operate advanced ultrasound systems, partner closely with radiologists and referring physicians, and serve as a critical link between patients and the answers they're waiting for. Core Responsibilities

• Execute a broad spectrum of ultrasound studies including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small parts examinations
• Guide patients through each procedure with empathy, clear communication, and reassurance
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and clinical staff to produce and interpret high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and report on ultrasound equipment functionality and performance
• Document all procedures accurately within the electronic health record system
• Actively pursue continuing education and stay aligned with evolving imaging standards and technologies

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Active ARDMS certification or equivalent registry credential in good standing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
