Description – Your Role Awaits

• Conduct a variety of clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—adhering to established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy by analyzing results, troubleshooting discrepancies, and carrying out preventive maintenance as well as calibration on lab equipment.
• Play a vital role in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as the demands of the day arise.
• Keep meticulous records of all procedures, facilitate training for new staff or students, and uphold the highest laboratory standards.
• Promote a safe and tidy work environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, paired with the preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) should be obtained within one year of your start date.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
