Description

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations across inpatient or outpatient settings and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver physical therapy interventions targeting mobility restoration, functional strength, balance, and coordination
• Work in close partnership with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and fellow rehab specialists to drive optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, home exercise programming, and discharge preparation
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility protocols and state and federal regulations
• Actively contribute to interdisciplinary care conferences and team rounds to ensure seamless, coordinated care delivery

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a fully accredited physical therapy program

Certifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialty certifications such as neurological or geriatric focus are welcomed, though not required
