Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations across a variety of study types using specialized imaging equipment and sonographic techniques

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• College coursework directed toward ARDMS Board certification is preferred; prior formal sonography program training in a hospital-based clinical setting is strongly valued

Licensure & Certifications

• ARDMS Board Certification is required
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• ARRT (R) credential and Vermont State Radiologic Technician licensure are a plus

Experience

• Prior hands-on clinical ultrasound experience in a hospital or acute-care setting is preferred
• New graduates with completed clinical training and ARDMS credentialing are encouraged to apply
