Role Overview

As a Nurse Technician, you will perform specific nursing functions aligned with your current education and verified competencies. Your responsibilities include assisting with medication administration (excluding chemotherapy, IV medications, and scheduled drugs), practicing the 8 rights of medication administration, monitoring patient responses, and promptly reporting to supervising RNs. You will support patient care by assisting with transfers, activities of daily living, hygiene, nutrition, and ensuring patient safety and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow scope of practice and facility standards under RN supervision
• Administer medications safely and accurately within allowed parameters
• Document care and communicate changes in patient condition
• Assist with patient positioning, feeding, and rehabilitative programs
• Maintain patient and employee safety policies and report incidents immediately
• Support timely preparation of patients for treatments, labs, and procedures

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Currently enrolled in an approved nursing program or graduated within the last 30 days
