Job Summary: Provide compassionate direct and indirect care to residents, including medication administration and effective communication with residents, families, staff, and visitors. Embrace and promote a philosophy that supports self-care and independence among residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the values and heritage of residents while understanding the aging process.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident records following established protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure quality care.
• Use tactful and diplomatic communication in sensitive or emotional situations.
• Stay calm and composed during emergencies.
• Maintain a quiet environment conducive to resident comfort.
• Assist the Dietary department as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) certification in the relevant state.
• Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification required.
• Preferred certifications include Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities for Assisted Living.
• At least one year of experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical documentation systems such as Point Click Care E-Mar.
