Job Summary: Provide compassionate direct and indirect care to residents, including medication administration and support. Engage effectively with residents, their families, staff, and visitors, fostering a respectful and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold and promote the facility’s philosophy emphasizing self-care and independence.
• Respect and appreciate the heritage, values, and aging process of residents.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident records following established protocols.
• Collaborate closely with peers and interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate tactfully and diplomatically in sensitive or emotional situations.
• Remain composed during emergencies and maintain a calm atmosphere.
• Assist the Dietary department as needed or directed.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) credential in the relevant state.
• Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification mandatory.
• Preferred certifications include Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities related to Assisted Living.
• At least one year of experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living environment.
• Familiarity with Point Click Care E-Mar documentation is advantageous.
