Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as a Speech Language Pathologist on a per diem basis. This role involves conducting comprehensive initial assessments, including gathering patient history, performing objective tests, and evaluating functional levels to develop tailored treatment plans. You will establish and adjust care goals based on patient progress, utilizing evidence-based interventions to support communication and swallowing disorders across pediatric to geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide education to patients, caregivers, and staff, and lead individual or group therapy sessions.
• Document assessments and progress accurately and timely, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively within an integrated care team, participating in committees and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professional development through ongoing education and research to stay current with best practices.

Education and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Preferred two years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Experience working with a wide age range from pediatric to geriatric patients is advantageous.

Licenses and Certifications

• Active state license as a Speech Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or Clinical Fellow status under mentorship.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
