Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest region as an Environmental Service Technician on a PRN basis. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will use germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies to sanitize various areas, equipment, and materials, ensuring compliance with health department standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas including walls, ceilings, furniture, equipment, restrooms, and patient care spaces.
• Handle routine, repetitive tasks with attention to detail and safety, even amidst frequent interruptions.
• Follow established cleaning protocols under supervision, completing tasks efficiently and quietly.
• Be flexible to train and rotate between multiple facilities such as clinics, hospital, and administrative offices.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Housekeeping experience preferred; hospital-based experience is a plus.

Requirements and Skills

• Ability to learn and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Competence in operating common cleaning tools and equipment.

Physical Requirements

This role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting and carrying items up to 35 lbs, and occasional exposure to biohazards. Normal vision, hearing, and speech are required, with or without corrective devices.

Work shifts are typically 8 hours within a 40-hour workweek, with a per diem schedule.
