Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

At least one year of experience as a registered nurse in an emergency room setting is preferred. Experience as a charge nurse is also advantageous.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Washington
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications are mandatory
• TNCC certification must be obtained within six months of hire

Key Responsibilities

• Apply nursing procedures and functions with proficiency
• Understand and address age-specific growth, development, and life stage needs of patients
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Organize and prioritize work effectively in coordination with the healthcare team
• Communicate clearly and document patient information accurately
• Utilize current technology, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products
